Former Baggies Chairman to save the club?

Former West Brom chairman Paul Thompson is rumoured to be a potential buyer for the Tykes.
Thompson, who is from Barnsley, left the Baggies after numerous disagreements with manager Gary Megson and is reported to be part of a group of businessmen trying to buy the Reds.
However, the administrator has consistently refused to name any of the potential buyers.
