Barnsley Football Club have just announced the following statement:
We have had emails from supporters who live too far away from the ground to collect tickets. Whilst the number is modest, the club would like to try and help in this matter and we are now making arrangements to handle postal requests for tickets from people living more than 40 miles away.
At this late stage, payment by cheque cannot be accepted; requests for tickets therefore must be accompanied by credit/debit card details and written permission to debit the account.
The following information is vital and tickets cannot be despatched unless we have all this information:
Card holder (exact title)
Card number
Start date
Expiry date
Type of card
Last 3 digit figure from the reverse of the card
Postal address (including post code)
On clearance of the payment, tickets will be despatched with immediate effect by recorded delivery, and a surcharge of £5.00 will apply for each transaction, i.e. total cost of tickets plus £5.00 surcharge.
