Reds goalkeeper Matt Ghent has been given a vote of confidence by Glyn Hodges and he retains his place for tonight's Tranmere game.
However, Hodges says he needs another experienced keeper and is rumoured to be signing one from another Nationwide League club who would be available for the Colchester game on Saturday.
Winger and occassional striker Kevin Betsy is pushing for a place in the starting line-up after making impressive performances coming off the subs bench in recent matches.
