Former Reds legend Ronnie Glavin has replaced Steve Ludlam as manager of Conference North-bound Worksop Town.
Ronnie was the Barnsley first-team coach for four months last season after leaving as boss of Wakefield & Emley.
Ronnie was sacked following the takeover by ex-Leeds United chairman Peter Risdale’s consortium and the need to cut costs, and has since been helping out on the coaching side at another former club Partick Thistle.
A firm favourite at Oakwell, Glavin joined Barnsley in 1979 from Celtic and went on to make 215 appearances for the club, scoring 92 goals, during two spells before leaving in 1983. He was named Player Of The Year in 1980.
