Norwich City have sacked manager Glenn Roeder just three days before the Reds visit to Carrow Road.
The Reds travel to the woefully out of form Canaries, who have plundered just one league win in the last eight and were knocked out of the FA Cup by rock-bottom Charlton last night.
Norwich will appoint a caretaker manager for this weekends game in due course.
Roeder has become the sixth manager to leave the Championship club they began the season at. The five before are listed below:
Iain Dowie (QPR)
Simon Grayson (Blackpool)
Paul Jewell (Derby)
Colin Calderwood (Nottm Forest)
Aidy Boothroyd (Watford)
