Good news on Ireland injury

Craig Ireland’s injury against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday is no as bad as first feared.

The centre half was stretchered off midway after a clash of heads with Lee Crooks, but Reds manager Paul Hart said after the game:

“Craig seems to be ok and the medical staff took all the relevant precautions on the pitch.

“He has a bit of a headache but it is not as bad as first thought”.
