After the Reds unbeaten run was ended at the County ground, Paul Hart said: "I think a draw would have been a fairer result overall but we did not do well. We battled in shocking conditions and on an awful pitch that was cutting up from the start.
"Even though we still should have come away with a draw. Having said that we hardly had a shot on goal and I think that we missed Michael Chopra and Stephen McPhail out there. We tried to play to the conditions.
"The conditions did not help and it must have been a terrible match to watch".
He added: "It was not a day for pretty football, that's for sure. The conditions didn't help either side but we should have done better.
Hart's reaction to Swindon defeat
"I felt we were always in the game without looking totally commanding but we didn't do enough up front."
