Hart's reaction to the win over the Terriers

He told the official Barnsley FC website: "I think we totally deserved the win. We have been through a lot of trouble and strife over the last two months but have worked very hard to put things right. We deserved that today and we are absolutely delighted.

"We have kept two clean sheets now in two games and we want to take that forward.

"We have lost our two centre halves - Tony Vaughan through suspension and Matt Carbon earlier today to injury - and had to rearrange a bit but I felt Antony Kay and Paul Reid did very well.

"In the first half we were top class. We knew it would be different after half time and they threw the kitchen sink at us but as a team we responded well and our keeper did not have a save to make - for the second week running.

"We were pretty good for the first 45 minutes but we still can improve on that".
