Hatters boss praises Reds!

Luton boss Mike Newell had few complaints after his side's defeat against the Reds saying: "You have to give Barnsley some credit because they have come here and played some decent football. They had some threat up front but we were never really at it."

"You have one of these days but we are not going to chastise them because they are still top of the league and they should be proud of that.

"We changed the way we played in the second-half and although we missed key players this afternoon, we have missed important people before and it has not affected us.

"We have conceded some sloppy goals today and it has been the worst we have played at home. Every team have days where things will not go you way but we must move on to the next game."
