Barnsley have taken 24 year old French striker Yannick Boli on trial.
Boli started his career with French giants Paris Saint Germain and scored five goals in 31 appearances for them between 2005 and 2010.
During his time with the two time French league winners, Boli won the French Under 18 Championship and also helped the senior side to the Final of the Coupe De France- the French equivalent of the FA Cup- in 2008.
Boli also spent time on loan at Le Havre and had a trial at Blackpool in 2009, before signing for French Third Division side Nime Olympique in 2010 where he netted four times in 23 appearances.
He has more recently been on trial at Southend in late 2011 and will be at Oakwell for a week as boss Keith Hill looks to strengthen his attack.
