Barnsley boss Keith Hill is within hours of making a double loan swoop to boost his depleted squad.
The new gaffer saw some of the early season pressure alleviate from him with the club's first win of the season at Reading on Saturday and Hill hopes to build on that feel good factor by bringing in Manchester United's Danny Drinkwater andMiddlesbrough's Cameron Park on loan.
21 year old midfielder Drinkwater has yet to make an appearance for the Old Trafford giants but has enjoyed Championship experience with Cardiff City and Watford. The graduate of the famed United academy spent the first half of the 2010-2011 season at the Cardiff City Stadium making nine appearances, before moving to Vicarage Road at the start of February, making 12 appearances for the Hornets- but nine of those were off the bench.
The former England Under 18 and 19 international enjoyed his most productive spell in Yorkshire however when scoring twice in 33 games for League One Huddersfield in 2009-2010- playing all but one minute of Huddersfield two legged Play-Off Semi-Final defeat to Millwall.
Meanwhile 19 year old winger Cameron Park is a bit of an unknown but did break into the Middlesbrough team at the back end of last season. The Scotland Under 19 international made his debut for Tony Mowbray's side in a 4-0 win at Bristol City in January and made another three substitute appearances for Boro in 2010-2011. His only appearance so far in this campaign was as a 64th minute substitute in the comfortable 3-0 Carling Cup win at Walsall.
