Full-back Matt Hill is the next player to be released by Barnsley as boss Mark Robins continues his summer cull.
Hill joined on loan from Wolves in October for just a month but after impressing his deal was extended until January when he was signed on a free transfer until the end of the season.
He made 24 appearances for the Reds in all competitions, scoring in the away draws with Nottingham Forest and Leeds United.
He follows Hugo Colace, Martin Devaney, Steven Bennett, Danny Fearnehough and Conor Branson out of the door as the Reds look to bolster their squad ahead of next season.
