Midfielder Brian Howard is set to endure a three-match suspension after his red card at Bradford on Saturday.
Howard was harshly sent off after just 36 minutes at the Bradford and Bingley Stadium after a foul on Lewis Emanuel.
Howard will miss this weekend’s South Yorkshire derby with Rotherham, a return to his old club Swindon following weekend and the Bradford rematch in the FA Cup on 3rd December.
The Reds have decided not to appeal after video evidence proved inconclusive.
Andy Ritchie told the Offiicial Site: " It is not a very good angle at all on the video and it does look as though Brian's foot is high. From the angle of the video I do not think we will be able to get it ever recisded. It is very, very disappointing but it is something we will just have to take".
Meanwhile Antony Kay will miss the Rotherham game after picking up five bookings this season.
In other news from the club a big congratulations goes to Jacob Burns and his wife Celia who have had their first child. Little Jonah Burns was born on Saturday which was the reason Burns missed the Bradford game. Congratulations Jacob, we hope to see Jonah down at Oakwell soon!
