Former Barnsley legend Georgi Hristov is looking for a new club after NEC Nijmegen announced they will not be renewing the Macedonian's contract which expires at the end of the season.
Hristov joined NEC from the Reds on a free transfer in 2000 and scored 15 goals in an impressive first season for the Dutch club.
Hovever, long-term injuries and rumours of personality clashes have meant the 27-year-old is no longer wanted after the end of the season.
