Barnsley's Argentinian midfielder Hugo Colace has been made available for loan by manager Mark Robins.
Colace has been woeful this season in contrast to last season when he picked up the club's end of season Player of the Year award after netting 8 goals from midfield.
He has netted just once this season, being in the 1-0 win over Sheffield United at Oakwell.
He left the club in the summer and re-signed after interest from Crystal Palace and Leicester but has failed to show the form of last season in his 25 appearances.
He has been touted out on loan or even a possible swap deal for the Reds. Manager Mark Robins said:
“We’re looking at the options which are available to us with Hugo, we’ve trying to do what’s best for the Club and for the player,”
“It’s not working at the moment so Hugo’s been made available for loan. At the moment we’re looking at all the options that are available to us.”
