Barnsley striker Iain Hume has given his first interview since the horror challenge with left him with a fractured skull.
The £1.2m striker revealed he hopes to be training again in EIGHT WEEKS rather than the six months and says NOTHING will stop him returning to football.
He told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"Nothing will stop me from playing, it's my life"
The Canadian International also revealed he has been overwhelmed by the support from Barnsley fans and fans from around the globe and that he has left any legal proceedings in the hands of his agent and lawyers.
Hume will not be in attendance for the SKY home game with Burnley on Monday as the doctors have advised him not drive yet but he hopes to be at Oakwell in a watching capacity for the game with Reading on the 6th December.
