Barnsley striker Istvan "Stan" Ferenczi is celebrating today after being handed a recall to the Hungary national side by coach Péter Várhidi.
Ferenczi made his debut for the Magyars against Jordan back in 2001 but has only 8 caps. He was frozen out on his move to Oakwell in January 2007, after revealing he had been told the coaching staff would not choose players over 30 years old.
But Ferenczi, 30, has won a place back in the squad for next week's game with Slovenia.
Ferenczi has eight Hungary caps and has scored two goals for his country.
