Paul Jewell has today left his job as manager of Ipswich Town by mutual consent.
The Tractor Boys last minute 2-1 home defeat to Derby last night extended their winless run to 11 matches and dropped them to the foot of the Championship table with just seven points this season.
48 year old Jewell, who led Bradford City to the Premier League in 1999 and Wigan in 2005, took over at Ipswich in January 2011 and after finishing 15th in 2011-2012, they have won just one match in 2012-2013, and Jewell has agreed to leave.
