Paul Jewell has become the sixth manager to depart a Championship club this season - making it more than one a month on average.
Jewell resigned from Derby County last night after a 1-0 home defeat by Ipswich led fans to turn on the former Bradford and Sheffield Wednesday boss.
Jewell had won just 12 of his 58 matches in charge at Pride Park, with just six coming in the league.
Jewell took over Derby last November when they were bottom of the Premier League, but he failed to win any of the remaining 21 matches as Derby finished with a record low points haul of 11 points. It even took until September of this year to claim his first league victory- a week after losing 2-0 at Barnsley.
He leaves Derby 18th in the Championship, just five points off the relegation zone.
Nottingham Forest, QPR, Charlton, Blackpool and Watford are the other teams to change manager this season.
