Barnsley will play their two legged Johnstones Paint Trophy Northern Final against Fleetwood on a Saturday and, at the moment, a Tuesday in January and February.
It was confirmed late last night that The Reds will play at home first and this will take place on Saturday 9th January 2016 with a 3pm kick-off.
Usually Johnstones Paint Trophy matches take place in midweek but with both Barnsley and Fleetwood already out of the FA Cup, it has been announced they will clash on the day of the FA Cup Third Round.
Their second leg, at Fleetwood’s Highbury Stadium will take place in midweek however and this has been provisionally set for Tuesday 2nd February 2016 with a 7:45pm kick off. This is subject to change however with this leg set to be shown live on SKY.
Meanwhile in the Southern Section Final, Millwall will host Southend five days after the Northern first leg, on Thursday 14th January, 7:45pm with the second leg yet to be confirmed.
The winners of the two legs will meet at Wembley on Sunday 3rd April 2016.
