Keeper Crisis

Barnsley could be looking at a goal-keeping crisis as it has been confirmed that The Reds have turned down a bid from an unnamed Championship rival for young hotshot Scott Flinders.

With first choice Nick Colgan expected to turn down the offer of a new contract and leave the club it leaves Flinders as Barnsley's only recognised keeper. If he were sold they would be basically left with unknown Academy graduates unless Ritchie acted fast in the transfer market.

The club though have stated if an offer came in that Flinders thought would benefit him then the club wouldn't stand in his way.
