Barnsley goalkeeper Ross Turnbull is set to sign for Championship side Leeds United according to reports on social media.
30-year-old Turnbull joined the Reds last summer from Doncaster Rovers, and was seen as a massive coup for the club following spells at Chelsea, where he picked up a Champions League winners medal, and Middlesbrough.
But the Bishop Auckland born stopper suffered an injury-hit campaign, in what was his third spell at Oakwell after two loan spells in the early 2000s. He missed the beginning of the season, making his debut in a 2-1 defeat at Port Vale in September.
He then went on to make 27 appearances in all competitions before another injury ruled him out for the season in February, and Adam Davies deputised for the remainder of the campaign, and won a lot of plaudits for many good displays, this will make him favourite to start the season as the Reds' number 1.
