The Reds' shocking luck with left-backs this season has continued with the news that Luke Potter will be out for six weeks after knee surgery.
In all fairness, in Potter's two appearances at left-back this season he has been torn to shreds but with Wolves loanee Matt Hill and summer signing Jay McEveley both out injured, boss Mark Robins hasn't many more options.
He will be forced into the loan market for another left-back before the loan deadline in 3 weeks time. With Hill back at Molineux for treatment and McEveley out for a few months yet, Robins has no other option.
Barnsley physio Chris Burton spoke of Potter's injury to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk: "He will have a minor operation today and will be able to start his rehab work from Monday."
