Leicester City boss Rob Kelly expects a tough encounter when The Reds travel to the Walkers Stadium on Saturday.
Leicester lie just 3 places and 2 points above Barnsley in 18th place in the Championship after picking up their first win in 7 matches with a 2-1 success at Wolves last weekend.
The Reds meanwhile are on a four match unbeaten run since caretaker Simon Davey took over the manager's role from the sacked Andy Ritchie, winning 2 and drawing 2.
Kelly told www.lcfc.co.uk:
"Barnsley are on a decent run at the moment and they will go in to the game on Saturday full of confidence. They are quite an attacking side and I am sure it will be a good game. They seem to be enjoying their football in the Championship and they play with a lot of freedom. They just get on with it.
"But as I always say - we will make our players aware of them but in the end we will concentrate on what we do."
The match between Leicester and Barnsley this weekend is the first time the two sides have met since both sides were in the Premiership in 1997-1998.
