Leicester City have pulled off a major coup in the transfer market by signing veteran star Nolberto Solano on a free transfer.
The 35 year old was a major hit in his first spell in England, making 312 Premier League appearances for Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Ham, scoring 57 goals. The former Peruvian international also played in the 1999 FA Cup Final, and in the Champions League with the Toon.
He left England in 2008, playing for Larissa in Greece and Club Universitario de Deportes in his home country, but Foxes boss Nigel Pearson has swooped to bring him back to the UK and he is set to make his debut when The Reds entertain Leicester on Tuesday night.
