Serbian midfielder Goran Lovre could be on his way out of the Oakwell exit door after failing to make a single appearance this season.
Lovre, 29, was signed on a free transfer from Groningen in Holland in the summer of 2010 where he had scored 22 goals in 105 games but only fleetingly impressed for The Reds in 2010-2011.
But he has failed to make a single appearance under Keith Hill due to injury and the excellent form of other players such as Danny Drinkwater, Jacob Butterfield and Craig Davies. Hill told the Star:
“Goran’s been superb but he’s not playing, so it’s just taking care of business.
“It’s about being respectful to Goran and what we need to do going forward.”
