Luton manager Mike Newell says he is delighted to have concluded a deal for the Reds goalkeeper Marlon Beresford on the official Luton Town website.
Luton complete Beresford deal
He said: "Marlon did well for us last year and we were keen to sign him on a longer deal then but we could only offer him a month-to-month deal at the time. By the time we got the green light to offer him a deal until the end of the season there was interest in him from elsewhere and he signed for Barnsley.
"They had a change of manager soon after he signed and he wasn't as happy there as he had been here. He has come to an agreement with Barnsley and will sign for us.
"He will come in and do a similar job for us as he did last time, coaching Brill and Beckwith. The young lads were happy with that last time and Marlon is keen for it to continue.
"He is a very experienced goalkeeper - we are happy with the kids but experience is vital. He has a steady and calming influence and that showed in the results when he was here. We are delighted to have him back."
