McPhail out until after Christmas

Reds midfielder Stephen McPhail will be out of action until Christmas at the earliest after being carried off with knee ligament damage against Doncaster Rovers last week.

He was stretchered off with medial knee ligament damage against Rovers after which manager Pau Hart said: "The tackle was absolutely disgraceful and should have resulted in a sending-off. He [Doolan] was obviously under orders to do that. Stephen is struggling with a bad knee injury and could be out for some time."
