Barnsley Football Club will decide on Monday whether to take legal action against Sheffield United and/or Chris Morgan for the incident that has left Iain Hume out of action with a fractured skull.
The Reds are discussing proceedings with Manchester United lawyer Maurice Watkins to decide what the best decision is and it has been decided for now to concentrate on Saturday's game with Watford before deciding whether any legal proceedings will start.
Reds boss Simon Davey says the club will discuss the issue with Hume's representatives first to see what the striker himself wants to do.
