Striker Miguel Mostto has finally returned home to Peru for good after Barnsley agreed to sell him to Total Clean Futbol Club for an undisclosed fee.
Mostto signed for The Reds from Peru's Cienciano in the summer of 2007 for a fee reported to be around £400,000 after he had scored 59 goals in 133 games for them.
Unfortunately the Peruvian international has failed to settle in England scoring just twice in 27 appearances, 15 of which came from the bench, he also spent time on loan back in Peru last season and went back home earlier on this season to care for his ill son.
Reds boss Simon Davey told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
"We are disappointed to see Miguel leave the Club but sometimes you have to do things which are in the best interests of the player and he needs to be back with his family."
