Muller Horror

Heinz Muller's knee injury last night worried a lot of people. And this evening the German has allayed everyone's worst nightmare.

The German keeper collided with Colchester striker Clive Platt last night and carried on with a nasty looking injury. He had one good leg and had to have his goal-kicks taken for him by Stephen Foster. Today, speaking to Nettavisen he has said that he won't play again this season!!

He said:

"I am devastated and close to tears. I asked to be substituted at half-time, but we didn't have a reserve goalie.

"It is an injury in the right knee, something with the ligament. I will be out for at least the next six months."

Muller has been an absolute saviour for the Reds all season long and has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, and just as we thought we were going to hold onto him this happens.

He added: "There is no way anything will happen now.

"It is typical, the same thing happened when I was on my way up in Germany, but this is my worst injury ever, and came at the most terrible time."
