Meanwhile Reds boss Andy Ritchie has admitted that he had looked at MK Dons striker Izale McLeod before the transfer window shut but decided against making a move.
McLeod will not face The Reds in the Carling Cup tonight after he was sent off in The Dons 3-2 win at Lincoln on Saturday.
Ritchie told the Sheffield Star:
"He got 18 goals the other season. We thought about him but I wasn't sure he was better than what we've got".
McLeod has scored 40 goals in just 89 starts for The Dons and has made one sub appearance for the England U21s
