Barnsley Football Club deserve praise by announcing their will be no increase on season ticket prices for the 2009-2010 season… but the praise will probably be intensified if The Reds stay up.
Last summer owner Patrick Cryne dropped every season ticket price for 2008-2009 by £10 and allowed Under 16s in for free if accompanied by a paying adult. Now the club have confirmed that there will be no increase for next year but they have yet to decide if prices will drop.
Secretary Don Rowing told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"We won't increase prices, as yet I haven't had the chance to sit down with [chairman] Patrick Cryne to discuss that."
"Certainly our view at this time is that there won't be any increase."
