Interesting Stats:
Barnsley are unbeaten in their last seven home meetings with Crystal Palace but have lost seven of the last eight away.
The Reds last victory at Selhurst Park was way back in February 2000 when Bruce Dyer and Darren Barnard cemented Barnsley in fourth place in Division One.
Overall Barnsley have a decent record at Palace, winning 11 of their 29 visits, only four less than Palace have won.
They have though managed to score on just two of their last eight trips.
This will be Crystal Palace’s fourth successive game against a side beginning with the letter B.
Despite being firmly entrenched in the Championship play-offs, six points clear of seventh place, the Eagles have lost their last three matches.
It is their joint worst run of the season after they lost their opening three matches.
