Team News:
Barnsley have been rocked with the news that young full-back John Stones is out with an ankle injury that forced him off in the 2-1 midweek defeat at Blackburn. Fellow full-back Bobby Hassell is still suspended so David Perkins, naturally a central midfielder, is set to fill in.
Top scorer Craig Davies is also a doubt with a groin strain. The 26 year old who has netted three goals in six league games this season is expected to start this evening but might not finish the match.
New recruit Tom Kennedy could be on the bench.

Interesting Stats:
These two sides are playing each other at St Andrews Stadium almost exactly a year after they last did. They played there on the 24th September last year, drawing 1-1.
Barnsley have not won at St Andrews in their last five vists and have failed to score in three of them. Barnsley's last win in the Second City was a game no Reds follower will ever forget. On the 13th May 2000, Dave Bassett's side travelled to meet Trevor Francis' boys in the Division One Play-Off Semi-Finals. Despite having lost 3-1 there in the regular league season, The Reds produced a superb performance to win 4-0 with goals from Neil Shipperley, Bruce Dyer (2) and Craig Hignett. It made the second leg at Oakwell- which Birmingham won 2-1- irrelevant as The Reds made it to Wembley for the first time in their history.
Barnsley's 1-0 home victory over the Blues in 2007 is their only win in the last 12 meetings.
In 2011-2012, Birmingham were defeated just once on their own patch, by Nottingham Forest in February, and they are still undefeated at home in this campaign, meaning they have lost just once in 26 league matches in front of their own supporters.
Barnsley on the other hand are yet to pick up a point on the road this season and have lost 12 of their last 13 league matches away from Oakwell.
A decent bet might be for The Reds to score once this evening. They have scored one goal in each of their six league games this season, but have not managed to score two or more in a league match since a 2-0 home win over Portsmouth in February.
