Jason Scotland has arrived on a free transfer but is not eligible for this so Reds boss David Flitcroft is set to stick with Marlon Harewood and Chris Dagnall.
Stephen Dawson and Jim McNulty are still sidelined with injuries but Flitcroft could make changes after resting key players for the FA Cup tie at Hull. Stephen Foster, John Stones and Jim O’Brien could all come back into the starting lineup.
