Giant Nigerian Fola Onibuje has left Oakwell by mutual consent after failing to break into the Barnsley first team this season.
He was signed in the summer of 2004 by previous manager Paul Hart as "one for the future" but although he has made a decent impression in the Reserves he failed to impress Hart or more recently Andy Ritchie.
Fola made his Reds debut as a late substitute in the Reds 1-1 draw with the MK Dons on the opening day of the season but only made a further three first team appearances, all from the bench.
Recently Fola has had trails at Mansfield Shrewsbury and Peterborough where he featured for the Posh reserves only yesterday.
Robert Miles says: Failed to make the grade though wasn't really given a chance another one of Harts failed transfers.
