On Wednesday night one of Barnsley’s Academy graduates, John Stones, made his full England debut and it might not be long before another of the Reds young stars is gracing the Wembley turf.
19 year old Paul Digby who is now a regular for the England Under 20 side was one of three players called to train with the senior side today as they prepare for their opening Euro 2016 Qualifier against Switzerland on Monday.
Digby, who has made 11 appearances for Barnsley since making his debut in 2011, two of which have come this season, joined Exeter goalkeeper Christy Pym and Southampton’s Harrison Reed in training with Wayne Rooney and co.
