LEAGUE ONE PLAY OFF FINAL TICKET NEWS
Over the next 24 hours the Club will receive 29000 tickets for the League One play-off final against Swansea on Saturday 27th May, kick off 3pm.
We have been allocated the North end of The Millennium Stadium and the prices set by the Football League are £52.00, £42.00, £32.00 and £22.00. Concessions (under 16 and over 65) will be half of the above prices. Wheelchairs are priced at £22.00 with free carer.
Tickets will go on sale to season ticket holders from:
Thursday 18th May: 10am - 7pm
Friday 19th May: 10am to 7pm
Saturday 20th May: 10am - 7pm
Sunday 21st May: 10am - 3pm
Please note: a season ticket holder will be able to purchase up to a maximum of four tickets (including their own) upon the production of Voucher E from their season ticket book.
All remaining tickets will go on general sale on Monday 22nd May, during normal office hours (9am - 5pm) (maximum purchase of four tickets)
Due to the anticipated demand for tickets, unfortunately we are unable to take bookings by telephone, or by post. As this is not a home league fixture, we are unable to offer our normal on-line booking service.
Strategy for selling tickets:
The four sale points in the box office will be open for all tickets, ie full price and concessions for all areas. Payment here by credit card/debit card only. It must be noted that this form of payment is likely to create lengthy delays.
Additional selling points will be made available in the East stand, and to speed up queuing times this will be payment by CASH only.
Supporters will be able to select an area of the stadium in which they wish to sit, subject to availability (but not a specific seat). These selling arrangements apply to both the box office, and East stand turnstiles.
Away Travel arrangements:
Coach travel will be made available to supporters at a cost of £30 per person. We must stress that the increase in price is due to the massive surcharges imposed by the coach operators for this particular match.
Coaches will leave Oakwell at 7.00am prompt.
Due to Football League regulations and Millennium Stadium ruling, strictly no duplicate tickets will be issued and no refunds will be made under any circumstances.
Barnsley Football Club have just announuced that provision has now been made for all Oakwell Centenary members to purchase TWO tickets on production of their card.
Members can purchase tickets at the same times as Season Ticket Holders. The same rules with regard to payment will apply.
