Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones has told Barnsley to table an offer for striker Chris O’Grady or leave the matter alone.
O’Grady, 27, was a big hit in a three month loan spell at Oakwell from the end of January to the beginning of May, scoring six times in 16 appearances and Reds boss David Flitcroft has stated he would love to make the striker, who he previously worked with at Rochdale, into a permanent fixture with Barnsley if the terms are right.
Jones though hit back telling The Star:
“Chris is still our player.
“Barnsley do an awful lot of talking but they never actually do anything. What we will do is wait and see if they come to us.”
