Barnsley have admitted today they have seen a bid for Walsall top scorer Tom Bradshaw rejected.
The 23 year old played a massive part in getting the Saddlers to the League One Play-Offs last season- where they were defeated by Barnsley- by scoring 17 times in 43 games including in The Reds 3-1 win at Walsall in March.
Reports suggest that Barnsley have bid £350,000 for the Welshman- trumping Rotherham United’s £250,000 offer but Reds head coach Paul Heckingbottom confirmed today that the two clubs are currently “miles apart” in their valuations and at the moment the deal is dead. Walsall are believe to want around £750,000 for a player entering the final year of his contract.
Meanwhile midfielder Otis Khan has signed for Yeovil Town on a one-year deal. The 20 year old joined Barnsley on an 18-month contract in January but made only three appearances and the club have agreed to release him early.
