The first South Yorkshire derby between Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday in nearly three years will be televised live on Sky Sports.
The two sides meet at Oakwell on Saturday 15th December 2012, with the kick-off time now moved from 3pm to 5:20pm
The last time The Reds met their local foes from down the A61, The Owls left Oakwell with all three points in a 2-1 win in January 2010. They were relegated to League One however at the end of that campaign and spent two years there before winning promotion this summer.
Wednesday have lost just one of their last six trips to Oakwell.
