Reds Chairman Gordon Shepherd has revealed that the Club have offered on-loan ace Daniel Nardiello a contract and they are now awaiting his answer.
The clubs have been in talks with Nardiello's father who also acts as his agent and Shepherd told BBC Radio Sheffield:
"I just don't know - it's up to the boy not to us. We have made an offer and that's the end of it really, we can't do a lot more. We've not been talking to Danny himself, we've been talking to his father, but he says he's happy at Barnsley.
"We've made an offer but the suggestion was that we hadn't - which is absolutely untrue."
