Barnsley have confirmed the signing of ex-Rochdale and Leicester full-back Tom Kennedy on a short team deal until January.
The 27-year-old previously had played under Reds boss Keith Hill at Rochdale, where he clocked up 137 appearances after joining from Lancashire rivals Bury after 143 games for the Gigg Lane side.
He joined Leicester in 2010 on a free transfer and made six appearances at the King Power Stadium, going back out on loan to Rochdale and two spells at Peterborough United.
He has now teamed back up with his former boss Hill at Oakwell. He will go straight into the squad to face Birmingham City in the Sky live clase tomorrow evening.
