Barnsley have been hit with a £5,000 fine by the Football Association for “failing to control their players” after a small melee during the draw with Leicester City last weekend.
Leicester have also been charged by the FA for breaking rule E20 - a failure to ensure players conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrain from provocative behaviour and both clubs have until 4pm on Monday to respond to the charge.
General Manager Don Rowing though told the Star that it is highly likely the club will just accept the fine as any failed appeal could see the amount go up.
