Hull City boss Steve Bruce has revealed that Barnsley are one of two clubs to have shown an interest in out of favour striker Aaron McLean.
The 30-year-old is also wanted by Blackpool after falling out of favour at the KC Stadium following the arrival of Bruce. And since the Tigers promotion to the Premier League, McLean has been told he can leave.
He joined Hull from Peterborough after bagging 67 goals in 148 appearances for the Posh. He has been less successful at the KC Stadim, with 9 in 78 appearances, however the majority of those have been from the bench.
With Sheffield Wednesday also reputedly interested, Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail:
"I haven't heard anything personally from Dave Jones, but there's been interest from Barnsley and Blackpool for Aaron. If we get the right offer, he can go.
