Barnsley have completed the signing of financially stricken Port Vale man Lee Collins on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
The left sided defender has made 164 appearances for the Valiants since signing in 2008 but the Staffordshire club need to cut costs after being forced to enter administration last week with debts of around £4m and Collins is one of the first to go.
