Barnsley boss Mark Robins has raided the loan market to solve his full-back crisis.
Robins has moved for 19 year old Kieran Trippier on a 28 day loan from Premier League side Manchester City to cover for the absences of Ryan Shotton, Bobby Hassell and Rob Kozluk and the England U20 international made his debut in last night’s 2-1 defeat at Middlesbrough.
Trippier has captained the Manchester City reserve side this season and was a part of the club’s successful 2007-2008 FA Youth Cup winning side.
