Barnsley Football Club supporters have been reported to the Football Association following this month's local derby victory against Huddersfield Town.
In his report, match official Trevor Kettle specifically mentions incidents where spectators entered the field of play and when fans refused to return the match ball when it was kicked into the crowd.
The FA are considering whether disciplinary action should be taken against Barnsley Football Club because of these incidents.
Mr Kettle's report reads:
Throughout this game when the ball was kicked into the crowd and in particular the Barnsley spectators, there were many occasions when they refused to return the ball to the field of play, especially when their team were leading. This was quite prevalent in the 39th and 87th minute.
