Bristol City boss Brian Tinnion has revealed how Wigan midfielder Tony Dinning chose the Robins rather than Barnsley or Sheffield Wednesday.
The 29-year-old has siigned a one month loan deal at Ashton Gate.
Tinnion said: "I'm really pleased that Tony has decided to join us because he had the option of going to Sheffield Wednesday or Barnsley on loan"
"He obviously feels there is something special going on at Bristol City and his signing will be a great boost for the club.
"Tony won us promotion from this division with Wigan two seasons ago and now I want him to help us do the same."
